The first step toward creating a better world for ourselves as well as for the entirety of Earth-society is to realize the part we play individually and collectively. Our reality is an energy-based reality, made up entirely of energy. Energy is, in its natural state, free-flowing, which means that it has no barriers to contain it. When viewed from a distant and detached point of view, our reality is nothing more than a mass of chaotic energy based upon emotional actions and reactions. When we begin to accept and understand this fact, we have taken the first step toward healing our world.
The Thought Masters, all three in robes and sandals, appeared quite suddenly one evening. Two had their hands tucked into the loose sleeves of their robes. The third was the one who stepped forward and spoke, identifying himself and the others and asking for a conversation. He introduced himself as Samuel and the others as Thomas and Nathan. He informed me that they were scholars of the thought process and had been schooled for many, many years in various parts of existence. I was eager to find out what they had to say.
When I went into "death" in 1974 I learned of the "life-review process." During this time of passage, each of us step into the experiences of others we've known. We feel their reactions to our words and actions, re-live their thought processes, and experience the emotions they have as they respond to us. This is as real as it gets, my friends. This life-review process, the following years and experiences, and now this Soul-encounter are reinforcing to me, again and again, that we are not separate. We are not immune to the consequences of our actions and the energies we generate.
And yet, as much as I knew we were one, I also knew we were separate. It was this that troubled me. There was a stirring deep within me. It seemed to be behind or within my heart and hidden in the recesses of my mind and also somewhere behind my eyes, so far that I couldn't see. It kept vigil over my days and nights, causing me to yearn for something I couldn't name. But in dreams, like a vapor in anguish, the Truth hovered over me, begging me to merge with it. I would wake up, gasping and reaching, to find the furs beside me empty and cold. He was a scout and a warrior and a hunter. Often he hunted with the night. Often I was alone.
